Can I connect more than 1 PC?
Yes
A router is required which can be either wired or wireless. it should
have Ethernet ports and most DSL/Cable routers have this. The WAN
port connects to the Astra2Modem and receives IP address automatically.
LAN port is for connecting PCs or use wireless (diasbled on router
by default). Please refer to router manual. We have successfully tested
Belkin, D-link, Netgear, Cisco amongst other brands.

I
have an ADSL Modem. Will it work if I use this one?
No.
First the ADSL connection is not an Ethernet port. Also ADSL modems
cannot perform routing between WAN interface and LAN interface.Wireless
Access Points also cannot work on their own and need a router connected
to the Astra Modem.
What
Wired or Wireless Router can I use?
In
order to connect more than one computer you will need a router (wired
or wireless) with an Ethernet port. The Wide Area Network WAN port
connects to the Astra2 modem and the Local Area Network Port connect
connects to your network. Some ports have between 4 to 8 LAN ports.
A switch can then be added to the LAN port for additional PC connections.
Both
the WAN and LAN ports should obtain IP address automatically from
the router. Wireless is by default disabled and needs to be activated.
Refer to router manual for instructions of setting up a secure wireless
network. Do NOT leave it open to abuse.
An
ADSL or Access Point will not work as they are not desined to perform
routing
